Description du service

This module focuses on strategies to support 6- to 12-year-old L2 beginners in engaging with independent follow-up work. It explores how to sequence activities around a project goal, starting with a shared experience such as listening to a story or watching a video clip. Learners then engage with the language from the story or clip through various activities, helping them progress to their own independent work in the L2. The module also emphasizes choosing a communicative aim to guide this process, ultimately leading to independent, meaningful language production. This module is divided into three sessions: - What you can do with your beginner learners: Choosing a communicative aim and preparing your learners for their own independent (follow-up) work - From listening to a story to different follow-up activities - From watching a clip or a presentation to the children’s own meaningful project in the L2
