About the event

In a functioning Montessori environment, you can see children’s autonomy developing in many subject areas. And what about the foreign language? Wouldn‘t children also benefit just as much from Montessori, e.g. making their own choices, when it comes to the foreign language? And how can it be possible with beginner learners who have little to no foreign language skills?

In her talk, Jana will share the steps she has taken towards learner autonomy with children aged 6-10. She will share experiences and tools, challenges and successes, and her learnings along the way. Learn with her how to create an autonomous learning environment where children take more and more charge of their L2 learning and become increasingly motivated, competent, and empowered.
